We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the accounting team, and ensuring that day-to-day financial transactions are properly recorded.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Reconcile bank accounts and company ledgers.

Assist with the preparation of VAT returns.

Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Support the accounting team with monthly and yearly closing procedures.

Communicate with clients or internal departments regarding financial matters when required.

Requirements

Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Experience with accounting software (such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Good communication skills in English.
